My first time photographing a wedding at See Canyon Fruit Ranch was one of the highlights of my 13 year career as a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo. I could not ask for a prettier venue to capture the wedding of Vince and Emily. I was given complete creative freedom and a very flexible timeline to showcase the love and detail that went into this stunning wedding. When the rest of San Luis Obispo County is brown from the summer sun and years of drought, See Canyon was pristine green and flowing with a secret garden feel. Rustic touches like a really cool barn and tractor added to the character without being distracting. Emily chooses the best flowers for space including a flower wall for the ceremony arbor. Dahlia’s were used for the Bride’s bouquet and also for the table centerpieces. The flower girl had a matching flower crown made especially for her.
The Bride and Groom chose to do a donut instead of a cake cut and it was so much fun. Guests loved it and there was no clean up needed. It was great for people to grab a donut and dance. Emily also chose to do a ribbon twirling send off instead of sparklers which were so fun to watch. I love when my clients personalize their wedding and make their own style. This wedding will always stick out in my head as one of the most memorable. When Emily was a small child, her family would come here for apple picking and she always dreamed of having her wedding at See Canyon Fruit Ranch. You can tell by all the stunning details how much thought Emily put into her wedding. It was a photographer’s dream to capture. How do you want your wedding to look and feel?
