Montana de Oro is perfect for photos or even just a walk on the beach. Spooner’s Cove in Montana de Oro is where I chose to do this sweet family photo on a foggy evening this July. Yes, there was a lot of people but usually I edit all the back ground people out of my client’s photos for a soft, clean look. I always tell my clients that beach sessions don’t have to be your typical standard family photo and use poses that are fun and sometimes unexpected. Sometimes hair will have a little movement in beach photos but that is totally okay. Natural looking, clean and relaxed photos are my goal for any family session. I also try to capture the love and the bond a family share.
We also stopped at Sweet Springs Reserve for this session and I’m so glad that we did. It’s right on the bay in Baywood. It has a nice cool breeze and it’s the prime spot for bird watching. We had an audience of ducks watching us the entire time. Now that social distancing is so important, I really appreciate quiet, calm locations for photos. I have a great list of photo examples of quiet locations all through out San Luis Obispo County. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful, beach area with mountain, forest and countryside areas for photos. When you book your family session with me, you can choose up to two locations for photos. This gives you a great mix of backgrounds, poses and styles for your photo gallery. It will be hard to just pick one as your favorite.
