Ragged Point near Big Sur, CA is incredibly beautiful and romantic. It is one of my favorite places to visit on vacation because it is so peaceful and is an amazing place to whale watch. You can see from miles away. Ragged Point is located off Highway 1 and is a perfect road trip stop.
Ryan and Emma choose this special venue for their destination Spring wedding. Although it was in the middle of May, it rained and then poured during their ceremony. The Couple decided before the ceremony to bring the wedding inside to the reception space. The down pour on the metal roof added a romantic and rustic touch to the ceremony. The sound was soothing.
The wedding was coordinated by the talented and detail orientated, Nina of by Request. The weddings I have work with her on have run seamlessly. I cannot recommend her enough. A fun touch to this wedding is when the Bride and Groom wanted a picture together holding hands but did not see each other before the wedding. It took a lot of communication but my assistant and I made it work flawlessly. I hope Ryan and Emma cherish their images for a lifetime, especially that one.
What I enjoyed most about this wedding is the Bride’s Mother’s speech. As a wedding photographer, I hear beautiful and fun stories about my clients and really get to know them. I have laughed, cried and celebrated with my clients and I truly feel honored to do what I do. I appreciate and am excited for every wedding I book and I try to make the photography unique based upon their personalities and style.
