If you are planning on eloping with a few friends and family, I highly recommend what Corina and Don did for theirs. They rented a beach house right on the beach in Oceano Dunes for their sunset wedding. They set up with everything on Friday and enjoyed their wedding on Saturday, stress free. They ordered food in for their reception and everyone pitched in to help make this wedding seamless. Then they saved the clean up for the day after so they could truly party and relax.
I’ve put together some tips if you are planning on eloping to the Central Coast for your wedding.
First, Make sure your have good vendors that communicate well. I would be happy to give you some wonderful recommendations. Have pictures ready to show your vendors exactly what you would like for your cake, flowers and make-up. Pinterest is great for this because it is a great visual to get everyone on the same page.
Second, Rent a beach house, rent a Air B and B house or plan a block of hotel rooms together. If everyone is at different hotels, then it adds to the stress. One person going M.I.A could mess up your entire wedding timeline.
Third, consider doing it on the off season, which is November -April. We have beautiful weather year round but our beaches and traffic are so much better during the off season.
Fourth, hire a wedding planner for at least the day of. Wedding planners are worth every single dime I swear. They make everything easier for you and your vendors. They can make your day so much more enjoyable. I know several talented ones who do an excellent job.
Lastly, have a blast. Enjoy every moment and hire a great photographer to capture your vision. I would love to work with you in making your day stand out above the rest.
