I’ve known Krissy for 15 years and I can honestly say, she is one of the kindest people I know. The day my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and we were being rushed to Stanford Hospital, I called her and asked her to take care of my fur baby and she didn’t hesitate for a second. She stayed in my home while we were away and made everything so much easier. I could never say thank you enough so when Krissy got engaged, I wanted to make her pictures magical.
The day started with wine and a killer first look at Laetitia Winery in Arroyo Grande, CA. Followed by family pictures with lots of love and laughter. Casey is so madly in love with Krissy and adores her in a way that everyone would want. He kept staring at her which was very sweet. Then we headed to the ceremony location and go into place. After the ceremony we headed to a special park in Pismo Beach for couple photos for 30 minutes. The reception at the Pismo Beach Vets Hall accommodated the large number of guests that came to celebrate their love. Krissy hired Monica from Buonasera Events to take away the stress and she did a fantastic job. Friends of the bride made the flowers and the cake as a gift which made the day so much more special. Guests danced the night away and I could not be happier for my sweet friend as she starts the next chapter of her life.
Photographer tip: You do not need to spend a fortune to have a beautiful wedding day. I have photographed over 100 weddings in my career and the most memorable ones are those that never forgot what was truly important. It’s not about impressing people, it’s about your authentic, passionate love for your mate and celebrating finding “your person” in life.
